Den Engel - Tervuren

Den Engel is a real gem in Tervuren. Typical brasserie food with a very nice beer menu. The ambience is where it’s at! A little dark with wood and iron decor and old captains chairs or benches. A wonderful place to duck in and escape the rain or have a leisurely meal. Service can be slow, sometimes altogether absent (after food is delivered) but a quick walk up to the bar will rectify that. Plenty of room inside and patio tables directly outside and across the street if the weather is nice.

Great staff, cosy atmosphere and dog friendly to boot. Every time I visit Tervuren, I spend as many evenings as I can here.
