Sonbadas Steak House - Terrace

I had a fantastic experience tonight thanks to our wonderful waitress. The service was excellent, and she really made sure we were taken care of. The lasagna and lamb dishes were delicious, but the Veal Oscar didn’t quite meet my expectations. Overall, it was a lovely evening.

For appetizers, we ordered the feta and olives along with tzatziki and hummus served with pita. I'm not usually a fan of hummus, but I thoroughly enjoyed the one from Sonbadas. It had just the right amount of garlic and a hint of what I think was allspice, which really enhanced the flavor. I ordered the rib steak, cooked exactly how I like it, and the accompanying lobster tail was equally well-prepared. My wife opted for the roasted lamb paired with Greek potatoes. The lamb was tender and flavorful. For dessert, we had the cheesecake and the house special dessert from Sonbadas. I could have happily eaten just the base of the house special with a cup of black coffee. The service was friendly, helpful, and well-timed. My only minor complaint was having to settle our bill at the bar, but that's a small issue in the grand scheme of things. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience in Terrace, BC. I highly recommend Sonbadas and look forward to dining there again in the future.

Fantastic experience! While passing through Terrace, we decided to give this restaurant a try. We started with calamari as an appetizer and then shared the sonbadas for two as our main dish, which was a delightful Greek sampler. The flavors were outstanding. The Greek salad was the best I've ever had; I think they add cumin to the olive oil, and it's simply phenomenal. The service was also great—our server was new but very accommodating, even though the place got quite busy after we arrived. As others have mentioned, the decor is charming, and the atmosphere is perfect.
