B & D Chip Stand - Temagami

My wife loves not cooking. Yes I'm a cook. If it comes in a box. Temagami, A very small town. Tourist's stay long enough to launch there canoe boat floaty. Bait is at the grocery store. Pizza at the grocery store. Everything is closed on Sunday. And in the off season. Gas station opens at six-ish. And closes at eight or nine. But is open on weekends and during the week till sundown. Now the review. Love the real fries. Hamburger is made with real beef. Smiles are free. If you talk about fishing the locals will smile and tell you the best spot. Maybe. And my wife loves coming here for a romantic night out.

Came here with the family after a week canoeing in the Temagami area. The staff here were super friendly and greeted us with genuine smiles which was wonderful. We had chocolate milkshake and strawberry milkshakes which were delicious. The milkshakes were so flavourful and thick. We also had a large poutine. So so so delicious. The fries weren't soggy, they were crisp and tasted delicious. The gravy and cheese curds perfectly complemented the fries. It was great, perfect roadside food. They do not have WiFi, but they do have delicious food and I'd recommend stopping by for a bite to eat :)

Our holiday is not complete until we stop at the B&D Chip Stand. I love their onion rings and hot dogs, but sometimes I get the pickerel instead. Hot, salty goodness.

We stopped in at this cute little chip stand for ice cream during a long road trip. They have a nice selection of good quality ice cream and the servings are large. I like that they provide picnic tables, it's much nicer than sitting inside on a warm summer day. The kids were able to run around and stretch their legs before piling back into the car instead of having to sit still indoors.

A wonderful roadside chip stand. We had poutine (very good), deep fried mushrooms (perfect!), and jalepeno poppers (wonderful). I hesitated at getting the full pickerel dinner and now I regret it. The service was great, staff friendly and all the deep fried goodness we ordered tasted great!
