Restaurant bewertenI went there to play darts and had a great night. The beer was well-kept, and even though I didn’t have any food while I was there, the sandwiches we had after the game seemed really good.
We stopped by for lunch during our stay at a nearby campsite and discovered a cozy, traditional café with a delightful array of homemade dishes. When we arrived at noon, the place was quite busy, but we were offered a choice between the breakfast and lunch menus. A bonus for us was that the café is dog-friendly. My wife opted for the homemade cheese scones and couldn't stop praising how delicious they were—she claimed they were the best she’s ever had. They came out warm, beautifully tied with string, and were served with chutney, cheese, and a side salad. I chose the cooked breakfast, which was excellent, featuring high-quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Our drinks were also enjoyable, and the homemade ice cream was a highlight of the meal. The atmosphere was lively, and the café was impeccably clean. It was obvious they were short-staffed—the window displayed a help-wanted sign and a notice indicating possible delays. Despite this, the service remained attentive, and the staff was apologetic about any wait time. Overall, it’s a charming café that I would definitely revisit.
We won't be returning after our two visits. The owner was unfriendly and unresponsive, often providing only short, one-word answers. It seems he has little interest in improving his business. While the place has potential, it falls short in both its food and accommodations. The only highlight was the wonderful music.
This place is an amazing hidden gem! It has a spacious yet cozy terrace in the back, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. You can easily lose track of time while you're there.
Of course! However, it seems like you didn't provide the text of the restaurant review you'd like me to rewrite. Please share the review, and I'll be happy to assist you!
