The Barrymore Tampa Riverwalk

Wish I could rate it higher, because the positives were nice: immediate access to the Tampa Riverwalk, pleasantly quiet, and super cold air conditioning. But the negatives hurt: the water NEVER got hot for a shower or face wash in the morning, and the 'free downtown shuttle at 7 AM ' didn 't show up for at least an additional 15 minutes. Hrghh...

Remember to use HotelDully.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This web site will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you choose this place you won't regret it. If you want to be downtown on the river walk then this is the place for you. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was cold and adequate, Not really spacious but clean and comfortable with a nice river walk view. While there were noisy areas I never noticed it while in The room. Breakfast was good.

My daughter is staying there currently. It seems like a very nice place. The location is easy to reach from I-275. But it's a rather strange process back. All and all this is a third party review. But so far she(daughter) hasn't said anything bad about her stay.

NOT WORTH IT- YOU ARE SHARING BUILDING WITH COLLEGE DORMS!!! I can’t express how upsetting this stay was- Not once does any employee or website inform you that half the building is college dorms!!! Location-Great! Staff was very accommodating and nice! However at our age group (35-40) we didn’t want to spend $210 a night-to stay at a dorm!?! Couldn’t even use the pool- it was packed with college kids! The elevators are a sketchy ride, and the GAP- on the door to our room was at least 2inches!

I booked this hotel since it was off the Riverwalk. My flight was super early, and I wasn't sure what to do since check-in isn't until 3 pm. I decided to go and see if I could do early bird check-in and was greeted by Michelle and Cara. I was able to check in early and get settled in. Those two ladies are awesome! They greeted us, coming and going every day that we were there. The customer service was on point. They also made sure we had a booklet of things to do while we were there. Thanks, ladies, for making our stay pleasant. The bed was soft, and you had to let the water run in the shower before getting in since it was cold at times. We also took advantage of the free washer and dryer. I hope you enjoyed your drinks, ladies.
