Dog Partridge - Tameside

Visited the dog today with the family for a birthday meal. we do not eat as a family very often as it can be hard work with a baby and a small child, but we all had a great time. the staff is very friendly and helpful. nothing was a problem at all, even if my little boy decided to throw his chicken on the floor (again, so I'm sorry). a real relaxed, friendly atmosphere and eating was beautiful. amazing carvery with so much to choose from and very large portion sizes! excellent value for money. the youngest 2 had a chicken nugget menu that was delicious again. large pieces delicate chicken breast. I couldn't resist trying a few myself, and it was by far the nicest child meal I've ever had everywhere! we all had a ball and will definitely come back soon!

Had the braised steak last night and it was absolutely beautiful and as a porky pig I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the portion served with home made fries and then told I could help Myself to any veg I liked from the carvery counter. Taste first class, quantity first class and value for money also first class

Excellent carvery, the food is cooked perfectly every time with lots of choice. Has become a new favorite. The staff are always friendly and you can tell they also get on with each other and customers so the pub has a happy welcoming atmosphere. There is a good sized car park too.
