Restaurant bewertenGreat ambience. Great burger. Fries cut flat and long, which really made the fry cracks outside and soft inside. The menu is limited at the moment, but if you are looking for a big burger and fries served by friendly staff, this is the place!
I didn 't have the privilege of dining here due to tight scheduling. However, I did have a very pleasant experience with the owner, his daughter and The Mayor . Father, daughter and The Mayor were super pleasant and I hope to dine here soon.
We came on Sunday 8/22 on our way back to Anchorage from Denali and stopped here because my wife was craving ?Alaskan King Crab?. Here are our feedback: ?Very country, laid back, bar and pub atmosphere. You can sit at the bar area inside or outdoor. There is no dining indoor sitting other than a few tables in the bar areas. ? we ordered the Caribou ?Northern Lights? Burger and the 1 lb Alaskan King Crab leg. ? My wife really enjoyed her King Crab. ?It really hit the spot? she said. When you have a pregnant??wife, that?s when you know you?re in a happy place. ?It was my first time trying the Caribou burger and it was better than I expected. Not the best burger I?ve ever had because I just love ? my BEEF burger. Nevertheless it was a delicious burger that I would definitely get again. ? Tip: the bathroom is at the entrance before you enter the restaurant. And it was only the host and a teenage boy working because they?re short staffed so expect a wait to be seated and get to be waited on. ?Overall, we highly recommend ?West Rib Pub Grill?. Big city taste ? in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely return if we ever get a chance to be back in Talkeetna!
The food was good. I had the Caribou Chili and it was hearty and loaded with Veggies. My wife had the Caribou Burger. Very slim and delicious. Beer roasted were crispy and tasteful. Nice selection of Alaska beers on Hahn. Pleasant prices and large terrace.
