Ooh Cha Cha Zhongzheng District

Their mushroom patty and full wheat beans are so delicious! we go a lot and I get to go mushroompatties I love their pesto mushroom burger and ricotta burger!

The staff are very friendly. Nice little place in an unassuming location. They had no burgers so I had a BMLT sandwich, which was lacking depth and flavour mostly cashew cheese and alfalfa sprouts with hardly any tempeh bacon and tomato. My smoothie was good though. I’ve been before years ago and had the same outcome. Not worth travelling to, but worth it if you’re in the area.

My another approach to Western cuisine in Taiwan and another failure. Relax, it wasn't very spectacular failure, but it confirms my supposition that finding a really remarkable eatery serving American or European dishes in Asia is like finding a golden grail. Let's start with the positives. The place is relatively nicely decorated, and the burger I ordered tasted not bad, and by Asian standards I would say even very good. Traditionally, I can't get over how it is possible that with the change of price status from inexpensive to moderate the friendly service turns into snippy, serious, without a hint of a smile. Did I fill with my moderate rated burger? Of course not. However, I was more stung by the note in the menu that every person sitting at the table must order something from the card. Dear Ooh Cha Cha several years of traveling around the world and you were able to surprise me with something new you probably just didn't want to with something like that...

Came for the burgers but they were all sold out. Ordered the B.L.M.T and Mozzarella Mushroom sandwiches which were both delicious, and the veggies inside were really fresh. But it's not going to fill you if you're a big eater. The place is small so be prepared to wait.

The menu here sounds so promising but I left feeling that it was a very lightweight meal for the price. I have tried the BLMT Sandwich and the Macrobiotic Bowl. The sandwich was tasty but just a small standard sliced bread size without much fillings, it just didn't seem worth the 160NT. The Bowl was 260NT and it was ok but only had 3 triangles of tempeh.. just a bit insubstantial for the price tag, in my opinion.
