Taqueria La Fondita - Tacoma

Deliciously unpretentious! This local food truck, parked conveniently, offers unbeatable $2 tacos. The person running the truck is really friendly too.

One of the best taco trucks in Washington! I'm a huge fan of the White Center location, so I was excited to try the Tacoma spot. The location on the Maps app isn’t accurate, but just remember it’s a block away from Starbucks and across the street from the minimart, diagonally from the Viet supermarket. They offer generous portions of meat with each taco, and the prices are quite reasonable these days. However, my only complaints are that the meats included with the tacos don’t offer a lot of options... even carne asada comes at an extra cost, which I consider a staple taco meat. Also, I found the salsas to be just okay. I highly recommend the carnitas, which I typically skip because many places make it dry, but here, it’s crispy on the edges and packed with flavor.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in the city! The prices are great, and the staff is friendly—it's located right in the Lincoln District. We're fortunate to have this place in Tacoma!

I would have to say, this is best Mexican authentic tacos I have found so far in Tacoma/Lakewood Area and the best priced! They have carne asada, lengua(which is hard to find) pastor tripa(hard to find) burritos Sopes are amazing- and burritos The ladies are super nice and talkative. They speak English and Spanish! They offer services to call your order in for easy pick up or order at the window. They have a small area to eat but it's super hot.... Parking is limited.

The staff is always friendly and the food is amazing!!! I would definitely stop by Taqueria La Fondita to get some food.
