Suzie's Lakeland Diner - Syracuse

I was looking for something affordable and filled. stunned over this diner and got exactly what I was looking for. the atmosphere is very small town and friendly. it has a retro vibe on itself. everyone was very nice and helpful. the food was delicious and filling. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. everything tasted fresh and loved that they did not rest on the boom boom boom sauce. I have always loved diners and this is definitiv up on my list. my bill came with my soda to about $12. (free refilling on the way)

This is the first time I’ve been to Suzie’s and I will definitely be back. The food and service was equally fantastic. I always order Over Medium eggs and rarely are they cooked right. But today my eggs were as perfect as possible. Absolutely no runny white part, perfectly dippy yellow. Our waitress was attentive, took our order right and got everything out timely and hot. Cant wait to eat here again!!

Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal to eat out, and I’ve been to a LOT of diners all over the Northeast. This was the BEST breakfast I’ve ever had at a diner. Super friendly folks, no frills atmosphere and just plain awesome food in huge quantities. I ordered the veggie fretta with a side of home made corned beef hash. I’ve had home made hash many times before but this was the best. Great flavor and texture, not greasy and cooked perfectly. The fretta was delicious and gigantic. First time in my life I’ve taken home leftovers at breakfast. Eat here. You will not be disappointed!

The food is great and the ambience is very inviting. The service was great, despite claims of understaffing. They did an amazing job.

We had a group of 12 deputies for a business breakfast.. the accomodations for our party were excellent. The food and service superb and accomodations allowed us to conduct our business. I would like to return here on regular basis.
