Restaurant bewertenTried the half-half hotpot. Despite the other being too spicy for me, i still liked it. Loved the tomato tripe soup. Loved the giant glutinous ball.
If you love a good hotpot which offers a huge variety of seafood, meat and vegetables this place is perfect for you. The menu is very extensive and you pay for what you order which is great. They make very yummy broths which cook the meat and vegetables perfectly.
The food was super delicious and perfect to have on a cold night. Can make your own sauces to however you like. And the meat barbie was definitely a highlight. Service was confusing at times but accommodating. Fave dishes would be definitely be the different meats and the dual spicy soup tangy tomato soup both flavorsome in their own way.
Great range of food. I do hope they wipe down the seats thought as it’s often oily from the previous customer. Descent customer service, food is quite fresh and sauce variety is good
Nothing is better than having hotpot in winter. You get to gather with your friends, order a whole bunch of meat and cook whatever you like in your pipping hot broth! This time we were at Memory Tongue for their famous Chongqing spicy hotpot. <br/ <br/ I couldn’t decide which one I wanted the most so I got both fish pickled vegetable and spicy butter soup base. The pickled veggie soup came with some raw fish pieces so they are cooked as you eat. Very thoughtful of the chef! Both soup bases were fragrant and flavourful without being too salty. And of course, I constantly had to go back to the pickled vegetable soup when I found the spicy one getting too strong. <br/ <br/ Barbie wagyu beef was stunning and her beef outfit is definitely my favourite kind of dress (yes, cos it’s edible). The beef was tender and fatty. Having them thinly cut also ensured more soup clings.<br/ <br/ As the photo suggests, the marbling in Australia M8 wagyu beef was simply amazing. Cut in thicker pieces, the texture and fattiness was even more enjoyable to meat lovers like me. <br/ <br/ I always love beef tongue but this one could have been cut in thicker slices to maximise the chewiness and bounciness. <br/ <br/ Spam slices were pretty standard but it’s the thought that counts. Spam in heart shape with garnish made it a whole lot fancier than usual. <br/ <br/ Fried buns with condensed milk never goes wrong. Crunchy skin, soft and fluffy bun dipped in sweet and creamy condensed milk, what’s not to love? <br/ <br/ Supersized fried glutinous rice ball is probably another must-order item. Crispy and slightly chewy bits of glutinous rice balls full of sesame seeds were just irresistible. Make sure you start eating when it’s fresh off the stove though. <br/ <br/ Overall a very pleasant hotpot experience with incredibly fresh ingredients and mouthwatering broths.
