Jimmy's Recipe - Sydney

After eating all day I felt like something fresh and light and this was the best place to satisfy my food needs. Had the beef noodle soup which was outstanding. It was a good portion, with a massive amount of noodles and meat filling. The service was friendly and very helpful. Very enjoyable and highly recommended!

One of the better places to go for laksa in the cbd. I ordered the chicken laksa ($11) and it had a generous portion of chicken. The broth is on the lighter end, I would prefer it to be a little richer and saltier. It was still very satisfying on a cold, Sydney day.

This place seems to be a bit of an answer to Pappa Rich. It is a bit of a strange one as I never thought Malaysian food could be so popular but it was hard finding a seat in this place on the second time that I went. I really liked their nasi lemak and I tried the beef sirim last time which was not bad... nasi lemak was better though. Even though it is more or less a franchise-y fast food sort of a place the quality of the food is pretty good - and I dare say better than a lot of more formal sit-down Malaysia restaurants around. One thing though which may be a bit of a general criticism of Malaysian food is that there never seem to be many vegetables in the dishes. I'll be back again one last time before I go home...!

My dear colleague introduced me to "The Laksa" here and I just fell in love with the soupy noodles ???????? In 2months, I have had at least 5 times here. All my work clothes were witnesses to the massacre splashes???? Laksa has been common during all visits along with trying their Roti Kanai, curry chicken, etc. After my first visit, I have realised that I didn't love it as much as I liked it the first time. ???????? However, I would still grab some on one of these cold days. ????

Been here a few times when I'm craving for some authentic Ipoh noodles. The broth is consistently good and it's such a nice comforting food on a cold day. Would definitely come back for more.
