GG Expresso - Sydney

There are more than plenty options in Sydney CBD when it comes to coffee. It is a bit tricky to get my double shot extra hot flat white in the consistency I like from cafes. The team at GG, regardless of who is making the coffee always get it right. I am seriously and pleasantly surprised by the consistency I get from GG. Always excellent. Very friendly staff and excellent service as well. I haven't tried their food though, therefore am rating them for coffee only.

GG's staff are friendly, although always seem a bit distant and disconnected from their customers. This means that service is efficient and friendly, but interacting with the staff always feels a bit awkward. That said, the coffee is of good quality, and the foods they do sell - although quite limited - generally good. Would recommend GG's if you want a good morning coffee without too much fuss.

Ate lunch at this cafe and it was a pleasant experience. The female server was very helpful and pleasant. I ordered a chicken club sandwich which was really tasty. A pleasant and convenient place to grab a bite to eat.

Being a New Zealander, it was tough to address the "4 more years" restaurant, but the coffee I had today spoke volumes. It was the best coffee I've had in Sydney so far, and the staff were absolutely lovely.

Here for breakfast on Christmas Eve. We lived nearby, and that was the first café we came over. Also the food worked well (Avocado smash) and the coffee was nice and hot and also good. Prices are very reasonable... compared to other places we checked later. Service was friendly and efficient, and one of the staff gave us some good tips for tourist activities during our stay in Sydney.
