Restaurant bewertenJura is an anarchist bookshop in sydney. they make workshops, social events and organize everything. vegans should explore the concept of anarchy to see how human and animal oppression are connected and how we can fight them both. my only question is that anarchists often do not take up animal releases, so often the people join in meeting who eat chicken wings. the anarchy is about to end hierarchy and suppression. meat, milk and eggs have no place in an anarchist bookshop.
Jura has a large selection of vegan cookbooks and animal li books and broochures. they have many political talks and film screenings, with them ranging from anarchism, feminism and antiracism to environmental policy and animal release. they also have music gigs. they welcome like-minded groups to also set up events. they are a non-profit, voluntary, anarchist collective working on the principles of direct democracy. there was a food box co-op from jura, but that doesn't happen anymore. check their website or call them before they visit because they are voluntary and so sometimes do not open.
Filled with essential information and friendly staff
Jura is a unique anarchist bookshop located in Sydney. They offer workshops and social events, and they organize various activities. Vegans should consider exploring the concept of anarchy to understand the connection between human and animal oppression, and to find ways to combat both. One criticism I have is that anarchists often overlook the issue of animal liberation, resulting in people eating animal products like chicken wings at meetings. True anarchy is about dismantling systems of hierarchy and oppression, and therefore, meat, dairy, and eggs should not have a place in an anarchist bookshop.
Jura offers a wide range of vegan cookbooks, animal liberation books and pamphlets. They host political talks, film screenings, music gigs, and events on topics such as anarchism, feminism, anti-racism, environmental politics, and animal liberation. Like-minded groups are welcome to organize events at the not-for-profit, volunteer-run anarchist collective, which operates on the principles of direct democracy. Although a food box co-op used to operate out of Jura, it is no longer available. It is recommended to check their website or call ahead before visiting, as they are volunteers and may not always be open.
