Our first visit back here after Covid and we were so relieved that The Queens is still the same great traditional British pub. A dying breed with the growth of the boring chain pubs The drinks are reasonably priced . Great location and atmosphere. The food is fantastic reasonably priced , home cooked , a fair portion, served hot and with a varied menu . We recommend the chicken curry and the roast pork meal! If you want a sanitised , standardised expensive bar The Queen’s is not the place to go, but if you want good quality ale , value for money and the experience of a real pub , the Queen’s is the place to visit. We’ll be back

Cannot stress how much to AVOID this absolutely awful establishment. One star is even too generous. Horrendous experience avoid at all costs

Booked last minute for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed thoroughly enjoyed and the staff are so friendly would definitely come back
