Restaurant bewertenArranged for Sunday dinner, all started well, sat immediately and ordered drinks. unfortunately the service went downhill and slow. two of us had starters that arrived very fast. we sat there to wait a good time. for someone who takes the teller away and brings the main course. that was a few minutes. the main course finally arrived, it was hot and a lot of choice at leisure. we really enjoyed eating and the heavy was to die. two of the parties then had sweets, which were also good. if the service had been better, I would have given him staring.
My friend and I have kept quiet here a few Sunday dinners and always find it good, service is fast and a nice place to stay for a coffee after
So, I paid for a set à la cart menu. three courses of the smallest sections that I think I've ever had another. I was here for a friend birthday in a private function room, and thought it would be nice to experience. a hotel meal. how wrong was I? I pre-ordered my meal. the garlic mushrooms were beautiful, and actually that was only nice at my meal. for the main course I ordered a sirloin steak, medium that the very miserable teenage boy kellner brought on the table and called me with names, then it broke down on the table before me. I had ordered a pfeffer sauce. no one on the plate, so I had to ask for some and also said that this had been pre-ordered. when I wanted to cut the steak, the waiter came back with another teller and said, “That’s not yours. that’s not an excuse. I only exchanged my teller and fed the new court before me. not yet a pfeffer sauce. my plate had about thick cutting chips and four cherry tomatoes on the winery. at this point I started to get frustrated. to fill my plate, I had to pay an extra for wobble rings just to feel like i had a full meal! Just as I thought it could not get worse, I ordered a malteaser cheesecake for my dessert to then say that the cook did not have enough cheesecake to go from us who had ordered. despite the fak “Dessert of the Day” had been PRE-ORDERED! I then decided to change the chocolate brownie from courtesy to my fellow dunes. then presented with one brownie, cut into the half in two triangular slices and ploned on a dish with cheap “strawberry ice cream sir” that they tried to leave as a type of fruit cooks. it was so dry that I had to ask for cream to eat it. disgusting! I also had two glasses of shiraz, which together, came to something close I paid less for a better quality wine in the ritz in london. small portions of pretentious food combined with miserable teen service. I will not come back.
It was my birthday, and we had a good badge for the morgans we had for our high time. we have reviewed the website and seen the morgans christmas Weekday menu that was a cursor per person. So we have. a table good in advance for a meal for two booked as it was today my birthday. on my wife and I arrived in the hotel I went into the bar and told them I had a table for two at them then brought me into a small room with tables in and said each of the corners that were two sitting. we were presented with the menu of a young waitress I asked her if we could have the menu I showed him on the phone what she only told us until and went away. I checked on the web page and it didn't say anything about the finishing times. after a few minutes she returned to ask if we want a drink. what we had half peroni and a bottle of zero alcohol peroni. each table had candles and Christmas crackers, why not it dezember lol. as they would we draw the cracker that must have been one of the cheapest cracker, they can buy the gift a plastic spinning top and a plastic paper linole. starter for me laughs and for my wife suppe small portions but tasted good. main food turquoise for my wife and filet of bark meat for me boiled well, but the bratkartoffel tasted of old fat the thickened roasted juices very thick and a little overpowered. side the spits, red cabbage and swed ok. the chips on my meal tasted again as if they were boiled in old oil, but the bark was fabulously tender and cooked perfect shame the rest was not good. about all the value for money for two in the back room no atmosphere not the best service or quality we felt a little over price. morgans hotel from outside still looks more impressive, so at this time of the year covered with Christmas lights. you expect it to be the same, but it looked down and unloved that it didn't care about it at all and very disappointing. in swansea there are much better quality places that explain why only more women have eaten there. will I have gone back? I'm sorry.
We went as a party of women for on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn’t too busy and plenty of staff on hand to take drink and food orders. I had mussels starter, chicken for main sticky toffee for desert all three dishes...were perfect. We went downstairs for drinks after our food until late evening and it was very relaxed. Very reasonable and we cannot wait to come back in January.
