Restaurant bewertenHalf a dozen visits and eating is predictably good. I can't comment on how authentic her Mexican is, but the Taco fillings are tasteful. for a next order, their potato chips are delicious and their salsa bar makes it worth the visit for me. Note that they are a third of the sort they used to pre-Covid, but I go back to the speed of the service, decent decoration and unfussy tasteful food.
Had the taco tuesday feeling yesterday and Sal y Limon hit that spot. Was not expecting such good tacos from a chain restaurant but, the ones we got (al pastor, carnitas, barbacao, pierna and lengua were honestly really well done. Really juicy meats with tons of flavor. Really liked the design on the onside of this place too with a lot of paintings. High ceilings makes it feel very open as well and kinda makes the tacos more fun to eat. We also came in pretty late in the day and Birajdeep was very helpful with explaining what comes with each taco. Also ended up order quite a bit to go. Will try to come in earlier next time :
Used to like this place but the quality has dropped significantly and the prices have gone up. Spent $150 for 4 and had high hopes, had paid for the premium beef in the taco platter and they charge a $5 meat premium for a dish of stewed potatoes with stir fried shaved cheap-as-possible sirloin tip that was fatty and poorly cooked/trimmed instead of skirt steak that they would use in authentic Mexican/Spanish cooking. Paid $11 for what tasted like watered down grocery store guac, also paid $4 to add cheese to our burritos and tortas but neither had any cheese... We also ordered ceviche, DO NOT ORDER THE CEVICHE. it was soggy leftover salsa, with pieces of indescribable seafood chunks without enough acid to be foodsafe, it also came with 3 crackers for container that had 2-3 cups of watery mystery seafood salsa, this is as accurate of a description as I could come up with and I am apparently being too nice per my parents, and my dad who 's birthday dinner this was for. We tossed it to avoid getting sick, and it shouldn 't be ok the menu if it isn 't going to be made freshly in a food safe manner. Overall it was very disappointing, used to have potential but it has gone down so much that I can not in good conscious recommend this restaurant to anyone. The burrito was decent, but it was ruined by paying for extras they didn 't include, and going to a Mexican restaurant and not getting a decent guac/salsa/ceviche is pretty sad.
Very good Mexican food, portion sizes and reasonable price, nice place, I was impressed and gave me a lot of confidence how clean the kitchen and the rest of the facilities looked, friendly staff, Sal y Limón is recommended..?
The BEST place for tacos. Their burritos are really good as well. Quality ingredients as well as large portions all reasonably priced. They also have a wide variety of UNLIMITED freshly made salsas ranging in heat level.
