Restaurant bewertenOur server was attentive and friendly. One of our served beverages had a large fly in the glass with ice. The food was acceptable, but appeared rushed as it was plated. Not up to the standards of other Red Lobster locations.
I had never tried Red Lobster and was excited to go with my fiancé. From both of us being previous servers, we know what customer service means and can analyze our experiences. Our server was just lacking any customer service or empathy in regard to any mistakes such as taking 20 minutes to tell us the keg is out. By 30 minutes we didn’t receive our appetizer either, she had told us she forgot to ring it in. The food was hot which was fine but she never asked us once for refills on alcohol or even water. We overheard other customers complaining about her and realized if we had a different server, we would have had a better experience. This was all on 6/24 a Friday at 7p and the restaurant was at half capacity.
I am appalled that I am required to leave a one star review, as a minimum for this waiting room. I call this location a waiting room, because after an hour of waiting for our meals, it never arrived. Our server, Jeff was nice enough to bring us ONE glass of water each, one cocktail (didn't offer to replenish it when it was finished) and stingily gave us some of Red Lobster's world famous (microwaved) Cheddar Bay Biscuits. He didn't come check on us, and when the manager finally approached us, she stated that the food was on a tray waiting to come out. The restaurant was EMPTY. The DoorDash guy, an old drunk at the bar and us were the only three patrons of the establishment. The lovely manager was reluctant to refund our meal, as we sent it back, and didn't even offer to comp our drinks for us. The only silver lining of this story is that I left Red Lobster without an upset stomach and it was the cheapest trip to Red Lobster that I've had at $10 for our drinks. Stay tuned for the review of tonight's back up date night dinner, Wendy's! It was a much more pleasant experience.
Great eating as always! we feel that we are worth our money.
We sat near the bathroom and it smell bad. the waiter was very friendly to other mozens, but came only twice at our table. another server brought our food to us and it took a longer time than the people around us.
