Really enjoyed the ice cream and must say it was very delicious. Was a huge portion of Holden Beach Sands. Also the orange cream and the purple penguin. They were also delicious. So nice that Leigh and Jeff have opened the store again so we can take a look at the beautiful gift shop. In love with soaps and doors mats. Best ice cream in Brunswick County! Love the key lime cake and the lemon cake. Every taste I tried was great. Our new favorite place. The other place is good, but Saltwater Shanty is better.

Delicious Gelato AND ice cream. The gift shop, go around once, then go back around in the opposite direction, because there is so much to see!! Great sister/girlfriend gifts, great garden gifts, and great beachy gifts; huge variety of merchandise, something for everyone!! The owners are husband wife team that are so congenial and will give you the best customer service in an atmosphere that’s relaxing and inviting! I drive from Oak Island to the Saltwater Shanty for my gifts and sweets so it’s a definite must stop if you’re in Holden Beach!!
