Restaurant bewertenWe've been to this place as a family with our adult kids, and as an empty nest couple. The ambiance and food is great for both. Food is excellent and the environment really makes me feel I'm in Spain. Music is icing on the cake. The only drawback is that sometimes it feels that they are understaffed in servers so it may take a bit longer for our server to return to check on us. But when they do it's service with a smile and prompt response to our needs. We will continue to return. ??
It was our first time in this spanish restaurant in Montrose area and I can surely tell the readers that I am definitely going back to this place! The food were great, the service was amazing and the place? Such a cozy and positive vibe!
Having just returned from Spain, we discovered a flamenco show right here in Montrose! Performance included an amazing singer who had just arrived from Spain, a wonderful flamenco guitar player, two women and a young girl. Exceeded expectations! The food was excellent as well from the tapas to the paella and of course, sangria! And don't miss the churros con chocolate! Service was top notch.
The staff at Casa Cordoba was attentive and went above and beyond to make sure things went well for us. For example, wait staff members covered for each other to check in with us when it seemed we might be neglected. The venue has a lovely outdoor patio with authentic Spanish decor. Unfortunately, there were a number of problems with the food. Several of the dishes were bland. A fish dish which we sent back and a vegetable dish had undercooked garlic which added a harsh flavor. The only dish we enjoyed was the patatas bravas.
First seated at a table that shouldn 't be there, high traffic between bar and servers and guests on side of narrow door/hallway. Requested to be moved and nice hostess helped us. New table better but hate having to move from poor seating. Server was either new or not engaged. didn 't really know menu and had to search for items on his little tablet like thing. Good server would know menu (it isn 't that large) and do is data entry away from table, we were only order a couple of items at a time (Tapas_). Kitchen is slow. I specifically asked him to put things in in order I wanted them, and they came out in random order. Food is OK but I confess, having travelled to Spain many times, it isn 't close. Best things were Calamares Fritas. House Sauce is pretty good, slight spice in a tomato aioli. return visit doubtful.
