Restaurant bewertenSince March we visited at least 3 4 times again with the same satisfaction as ever and as I described earlier March 20, 2022. We always enjoy Lahori Fried Fish with some other dishes, but favorite is always the same latest visit 20. March 2022
I would like to give it 3.5 stars, but I will receive up to 4 service: service was excellent. They quickly sat on a Friday night without reservation. The waitress was so patient and accommodating for my big group. She even got prayer mats for us food: The presentation was wonderful. We loved the chicken hunzai handi and the chicken tikka boti. Naans were also good and they have a ton of different flavors to choose. The shinwari mutton karahi was honestly disappointing. There was not much Saalan so it was dry (also for a Karahi) and the mutton pieces had very little meat for a $32 dish. The Masala cops were badly cut and then badly cooked because they obviously struggled to lay the meat flat on the grill. There were delicate portions and over and undercooked portions. It was definitely far behind Aga?'s goat chops. Value: I think there is a good value if you? Beware what your order. The Hunzai and the appetizers we got were quite expensive. As I mentioned above, I don't feel like the Shinwari mutton or the goat's coats were worth their $30 price tags. Overall: I think the service and the atmosphere are the saving grace for this place. The food is hit or missed and some of the dishes are not worth the high prices. Also, they automatically add 18% free of charge to large groups (I did not notice it until later).
That was a nice experience. I love the background music and the food. We ordered four products: Chicken Lollipop (delicious), Chicken Tikka (great), Chickenmakhani handi (not our cup tea), and Mutton kabulu pulao (rice was great but mutton meat was a little chewy). We come back for the loucher and the chicken Tikka and get regular rice with it. It was a really good offer for the Lollipop and the Chickentikka.
Well best Karahi I?ve had in Texas. Very flavorful kebabs and spicy level was spot on. Reasonably priced too. Place was extremely busy even for the pickup on Sunday eve but the front desk lady was handling it all like a champ.
The food was good. The service was fast. I liked the Naan especially. Fresh and warm. Barbecue plated and karahi were good, but the fish was very dry and seemed old recited. I didn't like the ambience, no music or anything it was sad and dark. I also didn't like tea being very milky and not even warm. We ordered Gulab jaman and gajar ka halwa they were okay. Maybe a little music or something to make this place less gloomy.
