Restaurant bewertenI used to enjoy the fish and chips at this restaurant, but I was disappointed when I had them last week. The fish was good, but the batter was undercooked with raw batter on the inside. The chips were also a letdown, being different sizes and shapes, mostly chunky, and soggy from being undercooked. I could only eat a third of my £12 lunch.
The food at this restaurant is not only delicious, but also reasonably priced and cooked perfectly. The portions are generous, and the staff are all friendly and willing to chat when they're not too busy. It's also worth noting that this is the spot where Ed Sheeran goes for his fish and chips when he's in Framingham.
After hearing many great things about Rumbles, I finally decided to visit for the first time last night. After a tiring day, I attended a local high school's open evening with my youngest child. When we finished, it was late and I didn't have the energy to cook dinner at 9:30 at night. We decided to stop by Rumbles, even though they were close to closing time. They kindly sold us their remaining dishes (a delightful mix of fish, fishcakes, and sausages) and even made a fresh batch of chips. I realized they only accepted cash, but the kind lady in charge told me to pay when I was in town on Friday. The staff were all so pleasant and restored my belief in humanity. The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning to Rumbles in the future.
I phoned in an order tonight. When I got there, there had been a mix up and someone else had accidentally taken my order. The staff at Rumbles were brilliant. Very apologetic, resolved it quickly and even gave us two free cans of soda. The food was very food, the people were very friendly and I was very impressed by their customer service. Would gladly use again.
