Slabs Diner And Steakhouse

My first time to dine here. My cousin and I were planning to try this place last Feb. 14; but it was so crowded from folks celebrating Valentine's. They highlight that their steaks are dry-aged; but they don't indicate where they source them. I don't think they served USDA Prime grade, though. I chose a 350 gram ribeye. I requested medium rare; but I received my steak on the medium well side (see photo). However, I was surprised that it was perfectly seasoned; I saw no need to apply any of the two accompanying sauces to enjoy the steak. Special mention for their clam chowder. It was as good, if not better, as any I've had in Manila. Staff was courteous, and accomodating. Prices were relatively reasonable.

Food was nice but the staff are not wearing masks on the counter. The chefs are not wearing masks too while preparing our food. We took videos and photos. When we approached them and asked them to wear masks (because Omicron is waving), they told us that they were wearing masks and that they are vaccinated already. I hope that they practice health protocol to prevent the spread of the virus especially they are in the food industry.

Still trying to find photos. Will upload later. Anyway we had late dinner here. We were 4. We had steaks, burger. Service is 5 star. The waiter is very accommodating and helpful. He helped recommend food. Will just give four star for the review because the steak is not that tender. Love the burger tho. Also like that they have acoustic singers when we were dining.

A really nice family owned business. The servers here a really kind and generous. Most importantly, the food is absolutely amazing!
