Restaurant bewertenFood was ok but I expect better taste for the price. Atmosphere was cool. Service was meh. We were however, a large party of 12.
An exceptional dining experience highlighted by friendly, knowledgeable, and patient staff. It 's a good spot for a formal or informal meet-up. And they have an early bird menu. The very desirable dishes on the menu pale in comparison to the expansive wine, cocktail, and bourbon list. I had the twin petite filets and both my friends had the chicken milanese. And the lobster bisque is out of this world. The bread was served with butter. The left side was Himalayan sea salt, the center honey, and the right was cracked pepper with olive oil. Fun butter we called it. And the prices were what you 'd expect.
We couldn’t have had a better experience! Ryan and John were the perfect Waiters. They were very attentive and so accommodating. Arriving earlier in the evening than most for dinner, we found they had an exceptional early-bird type menu. We weren’t expecting so it was a nice perk! My Aunt and I ordered filet, which we prefer to be well done. It’s refreshing to find a fine-dining restaurant that has a chef who knows how to cook an excellent well done steak without complaining about it. Kudos definitely were given to the chef on Monday evening. My Aunt uses a walker and struggles some, but everyone was so gracious and made her feel comfortable and not rushed. We highly recommend Hyde Park in Pgh and definitely will make this restaurant one of our repeats when I’m in town (which is often). Parking: The valet had stepped away, but it was certainly easy to park in the garage. He was very apologetic about it and offered to get my car when we were done eating. I could see parking being difficult if there was an event, BB game or weekend congestion because of all the other restaurants in the area. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair and walker accessible, but drop off at the curb is not. They need a ramp for the curb right at the restaurant. .

They took me and my daughter after a 3 hr delay from the city we left from. We missed our dinner reservation at another steak house we had reservations at. They made us feel very welcome even though we were the late and last customer on a Friday night. I know for a fact ALL restaurant staff across the world hate last minute customers. The rest of the night was AMAZING due to two people. Ashley and Ryan. Thank you both for saving my college tour trip with my daughter!!!!!
