Chipotle Mexican Grill - Stratham

The experience was frustratingly slow, and unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The area where orders are placed was covered in remnants of rice and various sauces from previous customers. Maintaining this space should be a top priority! It's concerning to think about those with food allergies. As for the tables, they seemed to have been wiped down, but it looked like spills from earlier visits were just smeared around instead of properly cleaned. I visited two different locations, and both exhibited poor hygiene practices and subpar service.

It seems they have hired enough staff to ensure smooth operations at this restaurant now, which wasn't the case in the past. I visited twice recently, and both times the service was good, with minimal waiting. However, I've noticed an issue with hygiene. The tables were generally dirty, and the person handling the food didn't change their gloves between customers. Additionally, there were large pieces of food that I hadn't requested mixed in with my meal.

It's Chipotle, so the food is usually fresh and on par with other locations. I've never had a disappointing meal here. I usually order a burrito bowl for someone with a gluten allergy, and Chipotle has a standard procedure to prevent cross-contamination. The staff is generally attentive to this, though there can be occasional slip-ups; overall, they tend to be well-informed about the necessary precautions. I've found the managers to be particularly diligent in maintaining these protocols when they're present.
