Demetre's Family Eatery - Stratford

This family-friendly restaurant offers simple and affordable meals, especially for seniors. The staff is friendly and helpful, although service may be slow around theatre showtimes in Stratford. Overall, our experience was perfect.

Stopped here for dinner on Saturday evening. We were asked if we had reservations and we did not. The staff found us a table that wouldn't be needed for an hour and a bit, so all good. Menu was not that large but certainly ample. My wife had steak, I had the roast beef, both were excellent and ample portions. Prices are in line, service very good, beautiful ambience..... would highly recommend.

Glad this restaurant is not closer to home as we would be eating there every week. It has a real charm like you are stepping back into the 90’s which is a good thing. Prices and food are superb.

Despite the online message stating that the restaurant is open for breakfast, it does not actually open until 11:00am, which is more like lunchtime in my opinion. When we attempted to have a light dinner there, with people kindly offering to give up their spot in line for us, the restaurant refused to accommodate us. We arrived at 6:30pm, hoping to leave by 7:15, but unfortunately the wait staff did not cooperate. It was a major letdown as the restaurant had come highly recommended and locals were willing to let us cut in line.

Offer good variety of home style type foods at fair prices. Both our meals were very god. Service excellent.
