Restaurant bewertenI recently had lunch at the Moat House and enjoyed the beautiful weather, comfortable seating, and great selection of real ales. The fish and chips were fantastic, and the cheesecake for dessert was also delicious! The staff were efficient and friendly. I wasn't fond of providing my card details when booking online, so I called and booked with a helpful young lady over the phone.
We both ordered the ribbed steak, which was fat and the three-fold boiled chips were more like tasteless house tiles! the service was terrible and went on to the waitress to say we were here! that just didn't work, high quality. delicious French pommes needed and mushroom please! really disappointed for the most expensive item on the menu, they come to moat house, sharpen!
I visited this place a few times and the service was always good. but at our last visit it was poor. we waited for our meal, but when we asked for the bill, it was presented with a few minutes! the. ambiente des ortes is super, but there were only two people in the area. when our tellers were cleaned, they left some and never returned to collect the rest. whatever we wanted, just didn't happen. very disappointing to say at least. the woman was beautiful, but the type in the restaurant was as annoying as everything.
Perfect sunshine service, went in the march when the good weather started, sat outside the beautiful atmosphere and music really set the environment. the food was nice as the service on the afternoon. really enjoyable service
Had a wonderful evening trying out the new menu at The Moat House! The pork starter with the bbq sauce was mouth-wateringly good, definitely the highlight for me, and I’m not one who usually goes for pork!! The cheesecake of the day was tasty too!...And a generously sized portion
