Shipston Fish - Stratford-on-Avon

The quality of the food has gotten better recently, especially the fish and chips which are now consistently the best in the area. However, the question remains: is it worth the risk when your food is being served and packed by a boy wearing his facemask on his chin as he prepares your meal?

The service was fast and the fish was cooked perfectly. I only wanted a delicious piece of fish and that's exactly what I got. Excellent.

I was extremely impressed with the fish and chips at this restaurant. The batter was perfect, the fish was cooked perfectly and flaked into large chunks, and the chips were excellent. Normally I wouldn't leave a review for a fish shop, but this one really impressed me!

Best fish and chips we have ever had from the Fish Bar. Spectacular crispy batter, the haddock was perfectly cooked and the chips were great. We have had some dodgy meals from here in the past but this time it more than made up for them. I just hope they can keep it up!

Six of us had fish chips from here yesterday evening (3rd Jan) and all were very good, light, crisp batter on white, thick, fish (Cod). Chips were plentiful and not too greasy. Service was friendly, quick and efficient, nothing at all to complain about here.
