Lovely dinner date with my little girl, best roast spuds I’ve ever had at a carvery! Kid-friendliness: It’s nice to have a pub that’s kid friendly and so local to us. We love coming here nearly every fortnight and getting served by our favourite barmaid/waitress Summer, she’s lovely and very approachable accommodating. We visit regularly, but on this occasion it was awful. Firstly I asked for a pint of Pepsi. What I received was a pint glass full of ice with a dash of Pepsi. The carvery was very poor. The beef was inedible as so chewy, and the roast potatoes had been warmed up so we're either as hard as a rock, or just a vile texture. The vegetables were very mushy and inedible.
