Restaurant bewertenA half-timbered house set in the park of L’Orangerie that looks like something out of a fairy tale but is in the city centre close to the European Parliament. We had a private event with a set menu, excellent food and smart service. The sommelier had done themed wine pairings which he presented showing not just great knowledge but also a good sense of humour. Dessert was prepared by a chef from another restaurant (part of the event), so I‘m not showing that picture, but also shows their flexibility with events. Can absolutely recommend, both for business and leisure dining.
We really enjoyed every each meals, and it’s always a pleasure to be in this such place, the vibe , the environment everything is perfectly setting for having a great time. Thank you for everything we will back soon, let’s hope this time we’ll have a table because every time we’re in Strasbourg the restaurant is full and this is so pity , but fingers crossed for the next time .
Empty terrace, *no one there*. We were refused a table, possibly because we weren’t adequately dressed, or at least so we think. Instead we were told that everything is reserved, for the Holy Ghost maybe because there was no one. With a condescending smile, we were instead sent to the bowling alley next door. I would suggest a restaurant with your pretences learns some proper service. You don’t know who you’re speaking to and you may turn away a potential regular customer who just moved across the street, like us. Plus Jamais.
My husband and I met dear Parisian friends here for lunch. As we hoped, Le Buerehiesel provided a true French gastronomic experience. My husband and I started with the foie gras, which was delicious and artistically presented. He loved the Tomahawk steak he ordered as his main course. I had the rabbit, a rare treat as it’s so unusual to find it on American menus. Our Parisian friend selected the wines, all of which paired beautifully with our food. The staff here is very professional and serves elegantly. While definitely an expensive choice, this restaurant delivers in every possible way delicious food, highly trained staff, excellent wine choices and a beautiful room.
Beware: I got incredibly bad food poisoning from this restaurant. The food was not good The service was horrible. We contacted the restaurant directly and were ignored. I could go on and on about the ambiance lacking, or the horrendous service from our waiter... The worst service we 've ever had in our entire lives (waiter named Houman?? , or the discombobulated, cold, and tasteless food. I have so much to say about this place and not one thing is positive. Please save your money, time, and go elsewhere. My husband and I travel often and we wouldn 't even eat here again if the meal was given to us for free. As for the service, there was one tall gentleman with buzzed hair on the bottom and the rest of his hair in a ponytail. He was the highlight of the meal. Our waiter Houman was the worst we 've ever had in our entire lives! We asked him after appetizers to please watch out for us more and refill our water, clear our plates, ask if we are enjoying our meal, etc. He sarcastically said ok , and we never saw him again. He didn 't come back to our table once the rest of the meal! We 've had much more stellar service from a food truck. We have eaten at Michelin restaurants and I 'm shocked that this restaurant is even in the same league. It has actually made me question the validity of Michelin stars and I 'll be writing directly to them.
