Golden Eagle Resort - STOWE

Very nice reception. We arrived late and the receptionist upgraded our room to a queen suite. It is a comfortable hotel, close to everything. They have a nice homestyle breakfast in The Nest. They serve tea, coffee and water in the lobby. We walked everywhere. We were happy with our stay.

Very friendly staff, beautiful grounds and our room was very good. Comfy bed, fireplace and nice view of the pond in back. We will be returning here in the future. We do not recommend The Nest as a place to eat.

Convenient, Friendly but rundown. Room was not clean when I arrived and took two tries but they did finally clean it and credit me. The bathtub doesn’t work and they promised to fix it but didn’t. The hot tub is pretty funky and barely works and the indoor pool was cold. I can’t say either was especially clean. I wouldn’t come back if I didn’t have to.

We had a great week at the Golden Eagle Resort. We stayed in a suite that had a small living/dining space and a kitchen and it was perfect for our family of four. We used the pool and sauna and ate at the restaurant on site and were happy with all aspects. The staff were really helpful with all requests. We loved being close enough to walk into the village but still having space for the nights we wanted to stay in after a full day skiing! We were never able to enjoy the fire pit/ s’mores option but thought it was a nice touch.

Super decent motel type stay. It is sort of a budget type of place at very expensive location. Very nicely taken care of for what it is. the front desk staff is way way more friendly and chill than I could have ever expected! We stayed because of a pretty good snow storm and wanted to be closer to the ski area. We live around 90 minutes from here... and we would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends!
