Edgewater Manor Restaurant

Our dinner was one of the best we have had anywhere. Our waiter, Chris, explained the menu, knew how the food was prepared, so that I could avoid any wheat and brought me a gluten free bun so that I was able to enjoy the honey butter, hummus and olive relish spreads. My fresh oysters were presented with fresh horseradish and a tasty mignonette. My husband's appetizer was perfectly seared scallops and pork bellies. Our mains of halibut on fresh zucchini ribbons, black olives and chick peas and veal served on a base of risotto were beyond delicious. The coffee was fresh and fragrant. Pass on the grape pie. It was the only disappointment.

We had lunch at the Edgewater yesterday. It's a beautiful restaurant right in a gorgeous setting right on Lake Ontario. I was very happy with my roasted red pepper soup and the mushroom ands scallop risotto. Both were delicious. My wife loved her Edgewater Salad but was disappointed with the shaved beef on a bun. It was mushy because of an overripe tomato in the middle. Service by our waiter and the bar waitress was excellent

Food was superb and so was the wine. But the best thing was the Service. Of course the location is lovely with a view of Lake Ontario. Highly recommend this place but be warned, the place is expensive. But you get what you pay for. Enjoy!!!

Had lunch here with another couple. Overlooking the lake gorgeous but excellent food was of the most importance to us and attentive service. Can't wait to go back.

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!We recently hosted a Wedding at Edgewater Manor Restaurant.First when you enter the driveway of the Edgewater Manor it is very very impressive. Second it is located on Lake Ontario with magnificent views of the Skyway Bridge, Burlington and Toronto. Upon arrival we walked into the dinning room to view the setup, flowers had arrived and were on the tables, then our eyes were drawn to the windows with the view of the gardens and Lake Ontario. We knew at this moment this would thrill our guests. We said "WOW" how beautiful everything was presented.There are not many places around that can offer such a tranquil setting, Edgewater Manor location is the perfect location to host a Wedding. Being located right on Lake Ontario we felt like we had a destination Wedding, yet we did not have to travel far to get here.Located on the second floor is the Bride's room over looking the gardens, the Bride watched the guests arrive from above. It was truly a nice room and a great escape for the Bride & Bridesmaids to prepare before the big event.Wedding service was held outside, lake view, Dinner, followed by a dance held in the main dinning room.Dinner was fantastic prepared by the chef with the staff serving the meal on time along with a fantastic choice of deserts. No one went hungry at this wedding.We certainly recommend Edgewater Manor in Stoney Creek on Fruitland Rd for a Wedding. We were thrilled to hear our guests comments on how impressive Edgewater Manor and the gardens are. Picture perfect, is the best way to describe it.It is all about location, location location.Edgewater Manor certainly has the perfect location.We thank Peter "Head of the Manor" and his staff for a very memorable day provided to the Bride and Groom and of course our guests and families.Special shout out to Cathy and Sabastian for keeping everything moving and on time.Thank you to all at the Edgewater Manor.
