Restaurant bewertenReally enjoyed our experience. We got orange chicken and pad thai. Everything was good, though I will say flavor is definitely on the sweet side, and the pad thai has a lot of sauce. Will be back to try some of the other menu items. Hopefully, we will find something more savory next time we visit.
As I continue to rediscover restaurants that I have not been to in many years (before Covid), Pei Wei came shining through. It is near where we live and we really liked our food.My husband and I both had the feasts so we could have leftovers. I got the Bourbon chicken and Sesame chicken and my husband got the spicy Gen. Tso's. Both feasts were delicious.Even the broccoli in the meal was quite tasty and not tough as they can be sometimes. The crab macaroons and the donuts with icing in a cup rounded out our feasts and they also were pretty good. The entire staff was friendly and helpful making for a great visit to this restaurant.
The customer service was great! ? Every employee was kind and courteous. The food came out nice and hot. Made to order. Unfortunately the food just tastes horrible. The crab racoons tasted like mozzarella cheese definitely NOT cream cheese also had red and green peppers. The egg rolls were not good either. Tasted like frozen egg rolls from a grocery store just deep fried there. Chicken and Broccoli, shrimp lomein, all seemed and tasted the same very strong on the soy sauce and just bland flavoring. The dumplings were probably the only thing I did enjoy but I have had better. We also tried the spicy Korean wings and those were a disappointment. Tasted like bland chicken and a store bought spicy sauce drenched on top of them. Most likely will not visit again. Customer service was great and nothing against the workers just the food did not taste Asian nor like the typical Asian American food they advertise. You're better off saving your monies and making it yourself or getting frozen Asian from your local grocery store. Parking: Shares a parking lot with a couple other fast food joints and Businesses (Firehouse , tattoo shop, and another business I didn't catch the name of )Kid-friendliness: They have kid options on the menu.
I ordered the Asian chopped chicken salad. CANNED CHICKEN, CANNED! Like dog food chicken just scooped out onto a very boring tasteless salad. Gross! I can not believe any restaurant would do such a thing.
I ordered the fan favorite Firecracker Chicken and the Thai Wonton soup via the app. I wanted to try the noodles so I subbed the rice. The flavor was fine but my chicken was not covered in sticky, ooey gooey, glossy sauce like the picture. That little bit of extra sauce would have made the very bland noodles worth the $2.19 upcharge. I actually added the peas and carrots for interest and flavor. Plus my chicken pieces were not as chunky as shown in the picture. The soup was good though. I didn't expect picture perfect just something a little more appealing.
