Restaurant bewertenTerrible experience. The chicken was left under the heat lamp until it was dry and cold. The cashiers were unprofessional and made sarcastic comments, even though I was polite to them. The food was significantly poorer than what I've had at Popeyes. They clearly knew the quality of the food they were serving wasn't good, and at this point, I regret spending $40 here.
I JUST CAN'T WITH POPEYES!! I'm officially done with this chain...no matter where I go, this place is horrible!!! I placed a mobile order for pick-up in the drive-thru. I had to wait for 15 minutes in the drive-thru, only to be told that I had to go inside to pick-up my mobile order! I get inside, and the place is crowded! No Social distancing protocols being observed!!! When I got up to the cashier, she could not find my mobile order. She asked the manager for help, but the manager was too busy on her phone talking about her children's birthdays.
My order was placed on the counter and left unattended for about ten minutes before I realized it was mine. What concerns me is the apparent disregard for me as a customer simply based on my appearance. It’s disheartening to think that someone might not be acknowledged in this way because of their race. It’s crucial to understand that personal biases should not interfere with professional responsibilities. Ignoring anyone based on their skin color is unacceptable in any setting. I have never encountered a situation in any restaurant, regardless of location, where I was treated this way due to my race. This particular franchise of Popeyes needs to reassess its practices. This isn’t a matter of me being white; if the roles were reversed and someone of another race faced the same treatment, it would likely make headlines, with accusations of racism flying. I believe that the staff working at this Popeyes on Thursday exemplified either a racist mentality or a cowardly avoidance of their responsibilities.
Tried to place an order at the drive-thru. I was told to drive around because the young man could not understand what I was saying. After 15min+ in line, I'm having to explain, that the guy told me to drive up Without taking my order. Only for her to tell me that they don't take orders at the window; and that I will have to get back in line or come inside. I refused both and ask to speak with the manager only to see that she was standing there the whole time. She fixed it with an attitude explaining that the guy is new and did not know that he could not do that. That's understandable but I only did what I was told. She told me that it would be 18min for spicy chicken, I said ok. Then the guy hands me a bag. I asked him if it was mine because the lady said it would be 18min. He shouts a firm yes with his chest. Very rude! I will not be going back, they took me out of my character. The chicken is not that good. The Mac& ? was great. Attitudes need to be adjusted. I guess they gave me the **** old Chicken on purpose. Be careful at that location.
Ate the fried flounder sandwich and it was very tasty. The fish itself is bigger than the bun it sits in. I really enjoy the spicy tartar sauce that comes on it. The fish is thick and it's good!!
