Best Western Plus Stoke On Trent Moat House

The room was lovely, BUT I don't recommend staying here at the weekend and definitely not in December unless you plan to be up late. We stayed for a Friday night as a couple with a baby, there was so much noise from the people hanging around outside that it was impossible to get to sleep. This became much worse at both midnight and 1 am when the 2 different parties they had ongoing kicked out and everyone piled into the car park talking/shouting and singing. I don't blame these people, it is the fault of the hotel not having adequate sound proofing.

Had a lovely stay,booked executive twin room,very clean and comfortable..breakfast nice,easy parking at an extra cost of £7.50..check in fast with friendly helpful staff.

Absolutely fab night, excellent, friendly service from all staff, made for a brill night for me my friends. Entertainment was 1st class, never stopped laughing all night. Thanks to all. Drag queen was fab, audience participation was brill.

I attended the Gok Wan Show which was fantastic, however, I was disappointed with the hotel. The ballroom was uncomfortably hot as the air conditioning was not working despite requests for it to be fixed. There was a lack of bar staff, with only one person serving 300 guests which was inefficient. The promised table service was useless as guests had to go to the bar to pay. The staff were disengaged and rude, and it was embarrassing to see Gok's team having to assist with serving due to the long queues. The bar was poorly stocked and ran out of gin and mixers. Overall, the service at this hotel was extremely disappointing and not fitting for hosting such an event. I would not rate this hotel as more than a 3-star establishment.

I stayed here one night I had no heating no hot water the food was burnt I had to get out of there I can out with the flu because of it. Do not visit this hotel
