Davenport Arms - Stockport

Great house boiled pub grub including amazing cake, a warm welcome and well kept beer. What else do you need?

Came today from a recommendation to davenport weapons and was very disappointed. nothing was made home, so that not the prices calculated. pie from a box, frozen chips, even the bark in a sandwich from a pack. very disappointing . my teller became. from the table while my wife was still shocked)

First visit and will not come again, especially because of the price of the beer. a bit dated inside, but very welcoming, but £5.90 a pint is much too much.

Cordial, very dog-friendly, great value and quality, delicious food. the personal is super and owner of the pubs very friendly and knowledgeable of the opposite. we are very happy about our visits in this pub. it has local heritage, beautiful atmosphere with a mix of local and...Not native, great with dogs with lots of outdoor and a designated at door place for dogs. we visit as a family with young daughters or just mean man and I for early evening drinks. every experience is great.

We have visited here previously just for drinks which has always been great. We have however eaten here the last two weekends and the food is excellent. There is a lovely family atmosphere and friendly feel to the place. The food was of an excellent...standard, good portion sizes and all warm and cooked perfectly.
