Emmys Mexican Food - Stockdale

Love this place and the owners! Good food and a great environment. Tortillas are amazing!

I walk in the door and they greet me with good morning and already knows my name. Very friendly and reasonable prices.

It was my first time eating at Emmy's. We arrived an hour before closing. The food was wonderful. The waitress was friendly and did not rush us or try to get us out of there so they could close up. The only downside was whether the ac was broken or something else was wrong. It was extremely hot in there

We had tacos, husband had crunchy beef and really liked them. I had the fluffy chicken ones, it turned into a mushy mess. Rice and beans were just average rice and beans. Salsa and chips were ok.

What mexican restaurant in south Texas doesn 't include salsa??? They always forget something that is clearly listed on the menu (i.e. flautas with sour cream and guac...no sour cream and/or no guac). Rude staff, sub par food and NO salsa! I tried the migas based on a previous review BEST migas in Texas eggs with cheese. That person must be from Odessa.
