Restaurant bewertenI was in the lions that often differ from home visits in the berkshires during the house. it can be expensive, but it has its mood with the live music and signature cocktails. it is an older building and the bar is located under the gasthof, steep staircase down into a cellar/cave like room, rich in history and just cool to be in. the barkeepers are always friendly and they can just come every night for live music and take a place at the bar or a table. large amount of visitors who want to enjoy the music.
Decent beer and cocktail list, live music Friday and Saturday nights.
Poor service . We were there for over an hour waiting for our meal. When the server asked us to remind him what we ordered... Then we ordered another round of drinks.. He never came with the drinks.. Very disappointed
We had good eats, some good drinks in a cool room with solid service. This place is a historical jem. It's probably packed during the Summer so I am glad we came during mud season (the Spring). I would return again.
There are three eateries in the Inn: this one in the basement, the tavern right above it, and the main dining room adjacent to the tavern. Because of eating on the go today, it was hard to tell if we were hungry enough for full meals so we decided to go here for dinner and then later to the main dining room for dessert. It was ok, but left us underwhelmed for the price. I got the pulled pork tacos which comes with chips and salsa. The meat was warm but seemed warmed up warm if that makes any sense. The salsa was ice cold.
