Restaurant bewertenBeautiful atmosphere and very handy in king street so many other shops to choose. has some nice seats that are on the street and more private cabins on the back, but can be quietly busy with students because of free wlan especially during the busy meal times. good prices and takeaway area is quite well furnished and is worth stopping when it calmer and or kovid rules again relaxed
Been going here for years. The hot good eg toasties flat breads are lovely. If you want a hot coffee tell them otherwise will be lukewarm.Really nice staff and surroundings. Open till 7pm on a Saturday so handy for a snack after the shops.
Great coffee shop with excellent espresso selection, I liked their desserts selection too. WiFi was a bit doggy but may it was just one of those days...
A cosy and friendly coffee place to have a drink, a chat, or read a book. I had a latte and it tasted rather mild. The bakery items are average compared to many other small cafes around the area typical fares one find at Starbucks than in a local Scottish cafe, and my fruit slice is too sweet.
This place has tried to achieve a shabby chic look but in reality is more shabby than chic. There is a certain amount of character but overall the place seems tired and somewhat dirty. The toilets exemplifiy this, they are grubby and are clearly not cleaned frequently enough. Stains the the floor around the basin and a very dirty fan grill show the unfortunate neglect that so many venues like this have. As a plea to the owner, please improve your basic cleaning! Customers do notice! Food wise, it's fairly average. Everything looks bought in. The sandwiches are plastic wrapped affairs in a chiller which you take to the counter. My overall impression is that there is a lot of potential here that is just missed. It seems like the owner is not that engaged with improving things and has become complacent.
