Shenandoah Hops - Staunton

I don't typically write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at John's store. My friends and I were passing through Staunton on Memorial Day when we found ourselves needing some beer. Luckily, we encountered John on the sidewalk, and he graciously opened his shop for us. We walked away with a couple of six-packs and some delicious kombucha. John is such a great guy, and his store is fantastic! He has a wonderful personality, extensive knowledge, a superb selection, and prices that are very reasonable. I strongly recommend this place to anyone in the Staunton area or anyone just passing through who wants to pick up some excellent beer.

I can't speak for the areas south of Staunton, but this is undoubtedly the finest craft beer store in the Shenandoah Valley, spanning from Staunton to Winchester. No other store comes close. They’re more than willing to break up packs so you can put together your own custom six-pack or four-pack. The service is top-notch, and the selection is incredible. If you love craft or high-quality beer, this is the place to go.

My mother-in-law resides in Fairfield, and she introduced us to this amazing place that specializes in unique beers. We were absolutely delighted with our experience! The atmosphere of the shop is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about beer. Though we live in Georgia, we can't wait to come back and visit this spot again!

I stopped into Shenandoah Hops (SH) to scout out tasty potables in advance of my Amtrak ride to DC the next day. Located literally steps from the Staunton train station, SH couldn't be more convenient. The store offers an outstanding selection of hundreds of local and international beers, and the super-friendly proprietors are willing to sell anything in the store by the bottle. The shop owner set aside my selections in the frig. When I came by to pick them up the next day, she also gifted me a bottle opener and a souvenir plastic cup. Great fun, fantastic selection, and first-rate friendly service.

Great little shop with a terrific mix of local, regional and national craft beer. Even a few taps that I wish I had more time to sample. Friendly, knowledgeable and we will be back!
