I won’t dwell on the rather unappealing and dry salad bar, which we found when we arrived just an hour before closing. The service from our waitress was just okay; however, my wife felt like she was being watched intently, perhaps the waitress was simply trying to offer good service. When it came to the meat, we found it to be overly seasoned, with most dishes tasting quite similar. Some cuts were chewy, while others were undercooked, despite our request for medium rare. The “mashed potatoes” were laughable – it was just chunks of potatoes smothered in a sauce that tasted like a loaded potato, which was a major letdown. As for the ambiance, the decor struck us as outdated. The lighting was excessively dim, and it was clear that thorough cleaning wasn’t a priority, as we noticed fingerprints all over the fireplace, indicating a lack of deep cleaning. We decided to try the dessert, which was complimentary, for which we appreciated the gesture. However, the plate it was served on was so tacky that it made both my wife and me burst into laughter. Even now, just thinking about it amuses us. The cake itself was decent, but the presentation was not up to par given the high prices. Overall, it was a mixed experience, and we left feeling underwhelmed.

This is my first time visiting this restaurant, and I must say, it has a lot of interesting artwork and lighting that adds a unique touch to the steakhouse atmosphere. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the service is top-notch. I will definitely be back!

The salad bar was fantastic and offered a great variety, while the selection of meats was decent overall. However, only a few of them truly made your mouth water, leaving you craving seconds. You simply flip a card to signal that you want more meat brought to your table, and they keep coming without pause. The service wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t exceptional. I have certainly experienced better, but overall, it was a pleasant dining experience!

This was our first time at the restaurant, and we celebrated our first anniversary there. We absolutely loved it! Everything was fantastic, and we’re definitely coming back.

I visited with my family during Houston Restaurant Weeks, and it was an amazing experience! I would definitely return to try the full menu.
