Country Kitchen - St. Helens

Called in for a quick coffee, while my wife was shopping in the centre. Didn't know I had to display, supplied, a wooden spoon to let them know I required service but I was soon served anyway. Ordered coffee and toast, chose the thick toast and it turned out to be thick at least 1 ! Food that others were eating looked really nice so I may persuade my wife to spend longer shopping in future!!

We came across this little place by accident. We sat down with our wooden spoon that we were asked to place on our table, after a few minutes our waitress came over and took our order. The food arrived and was lovely and fresh and hot. Staff were very helpful and patient. Service was of an excellent standard and will use again when passing through St. Helens. Would recommend this place.

Not nice ...the toast should be wrapped separate from the breakfast as the toast was soggy. No eggs on the breakfast. All food was muched up together.

Try to visit at least once a week , really lovely home cooked meals , very friendly staff ... also like to purchase a slice of Victoria Sponge on the way out as the cafe is also a Bakery shop as well .....
