Freshii - St. Andrew's Parish

Decent food and felt a bit healthier after this meal. Pick your filler (rice/salad/burrito style), add protein and toss it in a bowl. Tasted decent, pay a premium for eating healthier but all in all quick visit and tasted pretty good.

I'm there almost weekly and quite enjoy the food. It's about $11-12 for a good sized bowl with protein even when busy you get your food quite quickly which I also appreciate. My only complaint is the friendliness of the staff. I've been going for 1-2 years (or more now) and I have yet to receive a smile, from anyone. They are not rude, just really don't seem to care whether I spend my money there or elsewhere. Overall, one of the few good healthy options in the DT core and I'll continue to be a customer, but if there was another healthy option with a bit of a warmer personality, I'd easily switch over.

One of my few favorite franchises, Freshii makes it easy to grab a custom salad, wrap, soup or bowl. The ingredients are fresh produce, beans, lentils, grains and meat. It's the perfect place for all dietary requirements. One of the things I love about this place is the process. You can order off the menu or grab a form and create your own masterpiece. They have cold juices and some naughty snacks like chips. But overall everything is pretty fresh. The atmosphere of this one is vibrant, colourful and comfortable. Price is a little on the higher end but worth it for fresh food fast.

Hmmm... it's hard to know how to characterize this place as I've only been here once, but the food was yummy if perhaps a bit TOO filling for my lunch (I need to order a smaller item next time, as the Oaxaca bowl with steak was a bit more than I needed for my midday meal). That said the food was good even though it was a bit contaminated with unexpected cilantro (not much, mind! I just hate cilantro). And while it was quite a busy location I can definitely see visiting again to try other items on the menu. I wish that the garbage cans/recycling cans were better labeled and that the garbage bag in them wasn't falling down as it was hard to discern where to put our trash.
