Restaurant bewertenWe had the mezze salat plate. it was £9.50, but so big it was on two plates each. really delicious fresh food. exactly what we needed after a walk along the coast. highly recommended.
The salad was beautiful, and the vegan haggis was delightful. Would they return? Perhaps, although it was a little pricey for what it was. Otherwise, everything was quite good.
We stopped by Kambo Caffe for a quick brunch and I ordered the falafel with hummus and salad. It was fantastic—an absolute joy to eat! They also have a variety of vegan cakes, and I tried their fruit sponge cake. It was tasty, but there were some bits that were quite salty, likely because it wasn't mixed thoroughly before baking. Because of that, I’m giving it four stars. Despite the minor issue with the cake, I would definitely return for more! Updated from the previous review on April 24, 2022.
The menu has a limited selection of vegetarian and vegan options, but the portions were generous. I ordered the large vegan haggis roll accompanied by three salads, which were very filling. The coconut cake was exceptional, and they had homemade rhubarb cordial on offer, although it may be out of season now as I assumed they use products from their gardens. The lady who served us was incredibly nice, engaging in pleasant conversation, and was more than willing to address our questions by checking with the kitchen. The prices were a bit on the high side (around £20 for the main dish, cordial, mocha, and a large piece of cake), but I would love to eat there again. There are beautiful walks around the property, and the gardens were lovely during our visit. While the entry fee might be a little steep for the garden size, they do invaluable educational work, which makes it worthwhile.
That is one of my favorite places of the world. the personal in caffeine not enough for them, always so friendly and very friendly. very apologetic about a wee bit of waiting for eating, we have nothing against how we were told in advance and could see that it was extremely busy, but still they were so beautiful about it. Eating is not so good. I think it was the manager that I saw a few with a dog approaching and wondering if he needed water as it was such a hot day. the floor is beautiful and so peaceful. my children love mainly the small wood kitchen and play area and, of course, the fairytale. if I've ever married, it'll be here. from the cafe staff, the other employees are just so beautiful and they always have a smile on their face.
