Jade Village - St. Albert

Service is great. Extensive list of GF items clearly marked on the menu. Breading is made using corn starch but no dedicated fryer. The local GF facebook group recommended this restaurant. I did not ask about cross-contamination precautions. Staff is knowledgeable about difference between gluten friendly and celiac friendly.

Eight years ago, Jade provided an excellent dining experience and our extended family frequently dined there. However, times have changed. Do not ever consider ordering from this restaurant again. The prices are high, the sauces smell almost rotten, crucial items are forgotten, and the overall quality is poor. You can do better than this.

The staff was fast and welcoming, and the food was delicious. It was the best Chinese food I have ever tasted.

There are plenty of menu choices at this restaurant, although it's disappointing that they do not have a dedicated fryer. Despite this, there are still many options to choose from, and I have never experienced any illness from eating here. The owners are also very friendly.
