Grill Masters - St Albans

Good quality and tasty chicken but chips over cooked and box burnt through? Obviously all very fresh and hot which meant a great deal of condensation but I suppose this is to be expected. Rice very similar to microwave rice. Overall presentation v basic. Milkshakes however were great! Would try again but probably not as a takeaway.

Chef couldn't have been more helpful arranging a large order for me and my guests for a big...and good value...Sunday lunch. Clean restaurant.

I have had many shwarmas in my time from Maroush in Edgeware Road, London to Hala Istanbul in Al Garrafa, Doha and this is up there when it comes to taste vs cost. For £3.50 you get a giant good tasting shwarma with plenty packed in that is sealed at the bottom, enough said! But, the peri peri wrap we got wasn't well flavoured or spicy at all unfortunately. Also, the delivery was lacking. We got chips and wedges, but no tissues, salt, pepper or even a sauce sachet in sight. Strongly enourage them to take this on board, as this is too basic and was the difference between a 3 and 4 star review.

The milkshakes at Grill Masters are delicious, but their food could use more flavor. Despite this, the prices are reasonable and the restaurant holds its own against others in the same category.

I brought my family to this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the food. We ordered a whole grilled chicken and were served old, flavorless chicken. We will not be returning.
