Restaurant bewertenEvery time we pass through Jumpfield, we have to stop for a bowl of ramen or udon because it’s absolutely delicious! They offer a variety of sushi with options for substitutions and modifications, as well as many appetizers and main courses that are great for vegans. Highly recommended!
I visited Omo for the first time, and I’m completely in love with the place! This will definitely be my new go-to restaurant. Everyone was incredibly polite and welcoming. I started with the jump rolls, which were light, crispy, and delicious. For the main course, I ordered the Japanese ramen with chashu pork, and the flavors in this ramen were absolutely phenomenal. I also tried the California roll, which I paired with spicy mayo and eel sauce—it was hands down the freshest roll I've had in Springfield. A huge thanks to Josie, Lina, and the rest of the team for such a positive experience. I can't wait to come back as often as possible!
The food is absolutely delicious, and you can really see the time and effort that goes into each dish. They also offer many vegan options!
Some of their menu items are not actually vegan, despite their claims. The owners have secret recipes and are vague about the ingredients, often stating they are vegan. I can personally confirm that the spicy broth is not vegan, even though they insist it is. I would advise caution when dining there. Stick to clearly vegan options like avocado rolls, tofu, spring rolls, and similar dishes.
We started visiting this restaurant a few weeks ago because they offered vegan options, and the food was decent while the service was satisfactory. However, we also ordered takeout multiple times throughout the week. Tonight, we made a reservation for ourselves and our kids. After waiting for an hour, our children became hypoglycemic and cranky, so we inquired about our order. Although they had served several other tables before us, they informed us it would be another 15 minutes. They argued that they couldn’t accommodate us and suggested we could just get takeout instead. Unfortunately, our kids had to leave with the babysitter to find something else to eat since they hadn’t even brought us an appetizer. We’ve spent hundreds here in the past few weeks on catered meals, only to be left waiting while they prioritized other families who arrived after us. The limited vegan options simply do not justify such poor service.
