Restaurant bewertenWe sat here on a recommendation and we will go back! Great atmosphere and food was amazing! There were a lot of options and the mimosas were great. It's a bit on the spending side at $50 per person, but you're worth more than getting your money! They had a deer section, fresh crepe station, omelet station, pork / beef section, salad/fruit section and a large dessert section.
This restaurant is closed. Sounded like it might have been good online, but doesn't exist anymore
It is so disappointing that this is the experience I have to share. The Davenport Sunday Brunch has been a family tradition for a number of years. We have family that join us in Spokane for a reunion that always culminates in the Sunday brunch experience before we all say our goodbyes. This year, there were eleven of us. As always, the food was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all. However, by the next day, six of us were terribly sick with food poisoning. Since we 've always known and loved the Davenport, we contacted the manager, suspecting we were probably not the only ones sick to let them know what we had or had not eaten. It took a couple days to get a return call from the manager, and when we did speak to him, we were stunned that he took a very accusatory tone, stating that we had made serious allegations with an impression that we were making it up. The manager said he would look into our claim and get back to us in a couple days. It 's been two weeks since then and we have yet to receive any response. I understand that claiming food poisoning is a serious issue for a restaurant, but spending $650 on food to throw it up is about as bad it gets for a customer!!
Very disappointed. Wanting to take a friend out that has been having a difficult time. We were stuck at a 2 top table between 2 large tables that really was no room for table to be there. The server actually bumped his bum into my friend trying to serve coffee to the table next to us. The same server actually touched me 3 times inappropriately, once tickling his fingers on my back. The food was ok, but not $50 a plate good. French toast was burnt, asked for an om egg and the cooked cracked shells into the egg that we had to point out also flipped egg into air and cracked the yolk so my egg was actually over hard. No fresh baked breads, all just packaged, things you can buy at Costco. Sadly the special experience I wanted to provide my sick friend was not in excellence of the Davenport brunch. That God we kept a sense of humor about the whole thing.
Our server has done a great job with such a big group. He could take care of everyone and we were everywhere. The large amount of appetizers were really delicious. The shrimps were huge! I love little shrimps. The restaurant itself is really nice. The Davenport naturally has high standards to keep, but the Palm Court Grill is spacious, unique, well lit with really trendy accents.
