Restaurant bewertenSeriously the best pasta I've had since I lived in Italy. This place is a hidden gem.
We stopped at Bosco on the way to a Zags game, and immediately encountered an over-amplified emcee leading some sort of trivia competition for the 5 people present. There was also a couple of folks playing ping-pong. While many of the reviews here appreciate the 'ambience ', it didn 't impress. The folks behind the counter were very nice, but that was the only positive part of our dining experience. Our order consisted of a simple gin cocktail, pesto gnocchi and a panzanella salad. Two small cardboard bowls arrived on a plastic tray, with help-yourself plastic utensils and napkins. The food was terrible. The gnocchi was rubbery and the pesto broken. My panzanella failed to contain either tomatoes or croutons. That 's right... a bread salad with no bread. The bill was $36 plus tax and tip, so $48 in total. The pictured salad was $13, which is exorbitant for what we received. Disappointed doesn 't begin to describe the feeling. Violated is more like it, and we certainly won 't be returning.
We had Bosco delivered tonight and it was our first time trying the restaurant. Their companion restaurant, Tavolata, has been recommended to me by quite a few folks. We were looking for more casual fare for dinner. We ordered the Caesar salad, classic panino, and the meatball hero. We wouldn't recommend any of them. The salad had an obscene amount of coarsely-ground black pepper (and I love black pepper). The panino's bread was burnt and the prosciutto was unpleasant and unlike any prosciutto we've ever had. The hero was especially underwhelming and reminded both of us of the most mediocre cafeteria food. I understand that delivery can compromise dishes, so I've added an extra star and is incredibly overpriced for the quality received. The food we received is worthy of 1 star. There are much better options for Italian food here inn Spokane. We cannot recommend Bosco.
This place is the Bomb.com Make sure and try the Tomato salad and the meat balls are the best deal in Spokane for a quick protein snack . Always made fresh to order and super friendly staff who are always masked up !!!
Got a Bosco chop for $13 that was the size of a side salad at any other restaurant. This is my third try for this place and wasn't impressed any of those times either. Every time I've been there it took 20 to 30 minutes to get my order. I hope the can do better.
