Restaurant bewertenNice experience here. The food was good and the service was also great. The parts are big. I couldn't eat all my stuffed shrimps. If the weather is nice, you should sit outside. The views are good. There are 3 alligators in a kind of case to see. That was interesting. The bread was superduper, but no zeasarsalate. It was Bland.
Great food and great service, even when the power went out right after we ordered! The kitchen wasn't able to get everything perfect (a couple of people got different sides than what they ordered due to the power situation, and no more fountain drinks) but the server had a great attitude and we were impressed by the overall effort and the food. Charbroiled oysters, the redfish special with crab topping, and fried seafood platter were all amazing and we will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful lunch experience. We ordered the Au Gratin and Red Beans and Rice. The Au Gratin was loaded with wonderful shrimp in a tasty cheese sauce. The Red Beans and Rice was a large serving filled with crawfish and Conecuh sausage for an incredibly delicious meal. Our waitress Elizabeth was very helpful and attentive. We were provided excellent service during the meal. Three different employees stopped by our booth just to say hello and see if all was ok. Super food and service. We'll be backFrank Gardner
I went to Ralph Kacoo's for a late lunch and had a great experience with good food. I took my server's advice and got the stuffed mushrooms sautéed in a Cajun Alfredo sauce (amazing! . My main course was the special of the day: grilled amberjack with lump crab sauce over the filet and asparagus on the side with drizzled cheese sauce. The amberjack was perfectly cooked and the sauce was superb. The asparagus wasn't overcooked and had the perfect crunch. The only thing I could be critical about was the fish, it was to lightly seasoned, but the sauce made up for it. The service was excellent and the view you couldn't beat it! I can't wait to go back and try something else.
The only thing I hate about Mobile is all of the uneducated critics. You guys bad mouth every great seafood restaurant that comes here... RIP LAPS, tack jackys, etc.. . I suggest keep your redneck mouths shut unless you plan on cooking your own dinner. In my opinion, this is again a fine establishment and unless you grew up in Manhattan or somewhere with a silver spoon? You should enjoy the fantastic seafood and fantastic service that the Mobile Causeway continues to provide. Think how bad it would be for Mobile Baldwin Co if the causeway had nothing but vacant buildings.... Ps. Great food and quit being cheap asses!
